Fifteen years building California's most iconic projects — safely, on time, and with the people around him in mind.
Over a decade running crews as a Construction Foreman — managing people, timelines, and complex job sites across California.
OSHA 30 certified. Built a career on anticipating risk before it becomes a problem — for teams, clients, and landmark projects.
Materials planning, crew scheduling, documentation, client coordination — the daily machinery of getting demanding jobs done right.
A track record built on integrity, accountability, and showing up — on the job, in his community, and for the people around him.
A father, an adventurer, and a neighbor. The same person who shows up fully at work shows up fully everywhere else.
"The trades taught me that leadership isn't a title — it's earned every single day by the people who show up, do the work, and bring others along with them."— Jared Laufer
A foreman, a father, a neighbor.
Jared Laufer is the kind of person who shows up. Not just to work — though he's done that reliably for over fifteen years on some of California's most demanding projects — but to his community, to the people in his care, and to anything he puts his name on.
Starting as an apprentice carpenter in 2007 and earning his journeyman status through a four-year program, Jared moved quickly into leadership. As a Foreman at Safway Scaffold, he's led crews on landmark projects: the Granite Canyon Bridge at Big Sur, Moffett Field's historic hangar, the Bay Bridge, and dam restoration sites across Northern California.
Outside of work, Jared has volunteered with Save Our Shores on Santa Cruz beach cleanups, supported community events at St. Stephens Lutheran Church, and completed multiple ride-alongs with the Santa Cruz Fire Department and AMR — gaining real hands-on patient care experience. He completed EMT training through Defib This.
The qualities that made him a trusted foreman — reliability, clear communication, situational awareness, and genuine care for the people around him — translate directly to leadership in any environment.
Now, after more than a decade of physically demanding work, Jared is ready to bring his experience in field supervision, safety, operations, and logistics into a new chapter — one that values everything he's built and where he can keep growing.
He is open to a wide range of roles and industries. What he brings is consistent: a proven track record, a strong work ethic, and the kind of character that is genuinely hard to teach.
When Jared commits to something — a timeline, a standard, a team — he follows through. Every time.
A genuine belief that every person goes home the same way they arrived. No shortcuts, no exceptions.
Volunteerism isn't a résumé item for Jared — it reflects who he actually is off the clock.
A career in the trades requires constant problem-solving under pressure — at altitude, over the ocean, in confined spaces, and on deadline.
A career built from the ground up — literally.
Led daily operations for scaffold crews across California's highest-profile job sites — including the Granite Canyon Bridge at Big Sur, Moffett Field's historic NASA hangar, the Bay Bridge, and major dam rehabilitation projects. Responsible for job hazard analysis, OSHA compliance, safety inspections, crew coordination, materials logistics, and client communication on every project.
Managed the full lifecycle of complex builds: planning materials, assigning crew, inspecting completed scaffold for code compliance, and communicating with supervisors on staffing and sequencing. Qualified to work safely near hazardous materials including lead and asbestos, and in confined spaces.
Completed a four-year apprenticeship through the Carpenters Training Committee for Northern California, earning journeyman status in 2011. Gained hands-on experience across construction disciplines while building the discipline, craft knowledge, and safety habits that have defined his career.
